Hello and welcome back!

"Apex" is the sequel to "Rise." Just to warn you, this story will be darker than the original! ("What? Darker than THAT?") Yes, darker... sadder... the whole deal. But it'll be fun. ("For WHO?") :3

A brief disclaimer: I've actually had this idea in my mind for over a year, so this is not just me trying to capitalize on the success of Rise! If you want to check, you can go and use the tag for au: prime. (But don't, because there are spoilers there!)

This will be a bit different from Rise in that every other chapter is in third-person. There are just too many things going on to contain it all!
