ROTF Starscream figure

New ROTF figures came out today.  I just happened to be at Walmart (alright, alright, I went there especially for TF) and bought the new Starscream, Optimus and Chromia figures ($22, $22, and $12, respectively). 
So, here is Starscream.  In my opinion, he looks a lot better than the version from the first movie.  
It took me about 35 minutes to transform him (I'm slow - these are made for kids ya know.  I'm old and I have a hard time reading the instructions.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it), which included getting him out of the wrapper.  That took ten minutes in itself.  I think they need more twist-ties to fasten the figures in the package.  NOT! 



I really like the tattooing on this figure.

Better than the last version, although he still looks like a flying triangle. I liked a lot of the TF2007 movie bots but Starscream's design was just....ugh, no.

Yeah, I was shocked when I first saw him in the 07 movie. We were all so used to the pretty boy. But, he's kind of grown on me, and I like how he moves like a bird of prey.
This version somehow makes me think of a bad biker dude. Must be the tats!

I don't mind the bird-of prey analog, but you'd think they could design him with his wings on his back, not folded across his chest. Triangle-Scream doesn't even really look like he could fly in his anthro-mode.

Way more improved. But I'm so stressed I thought when you wrote ROTF I didn't think Return of the Fallen, I thought Roll on the Floor! XD

Ha, I should have said TF2-ROTF. But, I don't automatically think roll-on-the-floor when I see ROTF, because I usually don't use those abbreviations. I am out of the loop, and I have to look them up. Duh me.

I got the legends version of him, it's so cute! XD These movie toys are much better than some of the first movie version by far.
